Qwerty foregrounds an older subject in contact with new technology.  The intention was to explore a competent older user alongside various generations of technology.  The hands are seen rhythmically typing on the laptop keyboard whilst the sound accompanying is of the same hands typing in a similar rhythmical pattern, but on a manual typewriter.  The visual and accompanying sound are not edited.  The slight pauses of thinking time alongside otherwise confident typing, occurring in two different times and mediums, lead to chance sound/vision coincidences of keystrikes happening at the same time.
