Data Suit  gives the sense of a person living when they are no longer present and was inspired by technological life enhancement discussions with Middlesex University professors arising from bio-medical intervention.  A 1940’s dressmakers dummy was animated using Super8 film and digital video so that it appears to breathe, and thus in a very instinctive way, appears to have life.  The slow rhythmic breathing eventually builds to a deep inhalation and watching it through time, subliminally influences the viewer to synchronise the timing of their own breathing.
